Monica Bravo has practiced prenatal yoga and prenatal pilates during two pregnancies. She has had tremendous benefits with both Yoga and Pilates. She loves bringing this experience to her students in Sonoma County. Join her for a Prenatal Yoga in Santa Rosa at the Yoga Center of Santa Rosa.
Yoga helps you connect with your shakti, the divine life force within. Increase your energy and stamina, build strength and flexibility, and improve focus and concentration to assist your labor and delivery. Also become aware of how to practice yoga during this powerful time in your life. No previous experience practicing Yoga is required. Postnatal mothers are also welcome. During pregnancy it’s best to eat a light snack before yoga practice, giving about an hour to digest before class. Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in.
Testimonials
Being a complete yoga novice and someone who does not relax easily..I approached prenatal yoga with a lot of anxiety. Mostly, “I am going to look like an idiot”. Monica’s teaching style is incredibly calming and the class is an oasis during my crazy work week. She never makes you feel like you are doing something wrong. Being in her class has gotten me more interested in taking yoga after my baby is born. Me? Yoga? Something I never thought I would say! ~Erin Nelson, Santa Rosa, California
Prenatal yoga with Monica has been one of the best things for me during my pregnancy. Monica understands the needs of pregnant women so well and adjusts poses and positions to accommodates for each individual student. I look forward to every session because I know I am doing something great for my baby and me. ~Nikki Peterson, Santa Rosa, California
